If your garden furniture has seen better days, then now is the time to give it a makeover! For wooden furniture, you could sand it down and apply some varnish to protect it from the weather, or maybe a good clean will work, if you have a pressure washer this will do the job or you could arrange for an exterior cleaning company to tackle this for you.

If you have rattan furniture, then you can simply give it a good brush down and maybe wash it with soapy water.

Metal furniture can also be washed down and if it’s looking a bit rusty, then you might want to give it a new coat of paint.

If you enjoy eating alfresco and often use your patio area for entertaining, then you probably want it clean and presentable. A good wash with a stiff broom will sometimes get your patio looking fresh but it’s also quite common for lichen and algae to settle on patio masonry. This can be harder to remove. You could hire an exterior cleaning company to give your patio a deep clean and even apply an algae solution to prevent future build-up.
